Get More Productivity and Sales from the
Team You've Got.The economy is down. Budgets
slashed. And you need to get more sales and more productivity from the
team you've got. What's the key to business success? More than a great
product, a unique angle or a winning strategy, successful businesses begin
with successful individuals and s
I use the leading interpersonal skills training to equip your people
to understand each other's behaviors, and how they will be better able
to work effectively together, creating a high performance workplace.
SOCIAL STYLE Assessments was developed to measure interpersonal
effectiveness skills for individual contributors or for a mixed
audience. These assessments and courses address productivity issues
including:
- Effective communications
- Giving and receiving feedback
- Dealing with workplace conflict
- Working with others
The Four Styles: Nearly 50 years of research has revealed that
people operate with four distinct ways of interaction, or SOCIAL STYLES:
Analytical, Amiable, Driving and Expressive.
Each of the categories represent roughly 25 percent of the population,
which means only about one-fourth of the people you work with prefer to
interact in the same way you do. This provides a plethora of
opportunities for workplace conflict to manifest. What are you doing to
manage your relationships? By identifying the individual's style,
organizations can quickly improve growth and development.

Non-Verbal Communication Skills |
|
The Power of Body Language.
Good communication is the foundation of successful relationships, both
personally and professionally. But we communicate with much more than
words. In fact, research shows that the majority of our communication
is nonverbal. Nonverbal communication, or body language, includes our
facial expressions, gestures, eye contact, posture, and even the tone
of our voice. The ability to understand and use nonverbal communication is a
powerful tool that will help you connect with others, express what you
really mean, navigate challenging situations, and build better
relationships at home and work.
- First impressions are made in 7-10 seconds with most time spent
without words
- Body language accounts for 60-80% of the impact made around a
negotiating table
- Make eye contact 40-60% of the time during an exchange
Non-verbal communication, or body language, is a vital form of
communication. When we interact with others, we continuously give and
receive countless wordless signals. All of our nonverbal behaviors - the
gestures we make, the way we sit, how fast or how loud we talk, how
close we stand, how much eye contact we make - send strong messages.
The way you listen, look, move, and react tell the other person
whether or not you care and how well you're listening. The nonverbal
signals you send either produce a sense of interest, trust, and desire
for connection - or they generate disinterest, distrust, and confusion
Whatever your business, we can help you learn to read the
nonverbal signals of other people and enhance your own ability to
communicate effectively. |
